Science for Action Evening
In order to make climate action as effective as possible, decision makers need information on what works and what does not.
In this interactive workshop format, delegates, policymakers, civil society representatives and renowned researchers will discuss different aspects of effective climate action based on scientific evidence, focusing on the areas of mitigation, adaptation, finance and inclusivity.
Short inputs from experts from will set the stage, followed by more detailed discussions in breakout groups with the audience, accompanied by finger-food and drinks.
The event on the one hand offers the opportunity to relay needs from the negotiations to research and science, and on the other hand aims to strengthen decision-makers' understanding of the value of scientific findings.
