Investable NDCs – the role of Country Platforms lessons learned from the Just Energy Transition Partnership Investment and Policy Plans (JETP IPPs)

Meeting current and next generation NDCs will depend strongly on countries’ abilities to attract financial resources—public, private, international, and domestic. This event will explore how emerging Country Platforms (e.g., Just Energy Transition Platforms) can help to corral the necessary resources behind the climate and development objectives set out in NDCs—in ways that are coherent, catalytic, and sufficiently concessional. In particular, it will highlight lessons learned from the JETP Investment and Policy Plans and the role these plans can play in building effective support for a Just Transition.
