Olamide Niyi-Afuye is the CEO of the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA), where he is leading efforts to shape the future of Africa’s minigrid sector by working closely with key stakeholders within the minigrid ecosystem. He brings a multidisciplinary background, with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Management, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Financial Markets, Power, Renewable Energy, and Energy Access, all of which help in advancing sustainable business and economic growth. He is driven by a vision to transform Africa’s energy landscape, with a particular focus on providing affordable, reliable, and clean electricity to the 380 million people in Africa who currently lack access to adequate energy services.
