Ulrik Stridbæk

Ulrik Stridbaek, Vice President at Ørsted, is the Head of Regulatory and Public Affairs. He is in charge of
Ørsted’s strategy, positioning and stakeholder engagement on regulatory and policy issues. In that role he
has been deeply engaged in promoting the green transformation and working for the frameworks for
renewable energy and renewable hydrogen. He has worked for Ørsted since 2008. He is in the board of
Wind Europe and Green Power Denmark, and he is the vice-chair of DI Energy.
Before joining Ørsted he was a principal policy advisor at the International Energy Agency, where he was
responsible for electricity sector analysis, giving policy advice to member governments. He worked at the IEA
for 4 years.
Ulrik Stridbaek has worked in the energy sector on green transformation, energy sector analysis, regulation,
market design and policy for 25 years. He holds a Masters degree in Economics.
