Elisa Oezbek

Elisa Oezbek is Deputy Head of Section for International Climate Policy in the Federal Foreign Office since 2023. Previously, she has held various posts in the Foreign Office, including at the Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva and with the European Correspondent Team. Her focus in her current position is on advancing Germany’s climate foreign policy, and in particular the UNFCCC process, in addition to G20, G7 and the EU’s climate policy. NDC diplomacy is an important part of her work.
