Bill Hare
Bill Hare is a physicist, climate scientist and CEO of the global science and policy institute Climate Analytics. Bill has contributed to the development of the international climate regime since 1989, was a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report, led the influential World Bank Turn Down the Heat report series in 2013-2014, and is one of the leaders of the Climate Action Tracker. He has been described as the 'go-to climate advisor' for the most climate vulnerable countries, particularly small island developing states (SIDS) and least developed countries (LDCs). He was recently appointed as a member of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Expert Group on non-state actor net-zero commitments.
