Sayed Shoaib Sadaat

Sayed Shoaib Sadaat is an environmental advocate from Afghanistan, committed to advancing climate justice and supporting the country’s environmental activists and civil society movements. As the project lead for environment and natural resources at The Liaison Office (TLO), he spearheads initiatives to raise environmental awareness, conduct essential research, and advocate for solutions to Afghanistan’s pressing climate challenges. Shoaib also leads the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform (CECOP), a volunteer network that has supported environmental activism and sustainable initiatives across Afghanistan since 2012. Recently, he organized nationwide consultations with youth, women, and civil society members to gather their insights, shaping these perspectives into Afghanistan’s Climate Voice for COP29. Driven by a commitment to resilience and environmental protection, Shoaib is dedicated to ensuring that Afghan voices and efforts are recognized on the global stage.
