Maximilian Webers
COLIPI GmbH Maximilian Webers was born in Northern Germany and raised on the island of Rügen. He pursued higher education in cities across Germany and internationally, including Nuremberg, Berlin, Munich, and Trois-Rivières in Canada, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Management.
In 2016, he began his career in Jakarta, Indonesia, as a Project Manager for the Swiss firm DKSH. After a year, he returned to Berlin, where he worked as a Strategy Consultant for Capgemini, a French consulting company, and later transitioned to a team lead role in a mobility-as-a-service startup from 2019.
Since 2021, Maximilian has been the co-founder and CEO of COLIPI, a Hamburg-based biotech and climate tech startup. His work at COLIPI focuses on transforming carbon dioxide into sustainable hydrocarbon molecules, including the company’s trademarked "Climate Oil," to support a carbon-neutral future.
